On March 20, 2003, I suffered a light stroke while in Texas for the winter months. I went to a VA clinic in McAllen, and underwent a series of tests. The doctor then advised me not to drive home.
When I explained the circumstances to SkyMed, I was very pleased with the response. I was told SkyMed would pay the airfare for a relative to fly out and drive me back to Iowa, along with reimbursing me for the fuel and oil expenses.
