Buena Vista Hospitality Group Vacation Ownership Resorts (BVHGVOR) Enters Strategic Alliance With SkyMed International

Press Release: SkyMed International Inc.
May 2, 2003
Scottsdale, AZ -- Will Klein, Chief Executive Officer of SkyMed International Inc announced today that his company has entered into a strategic alliance with Buena Vista Hospitality Group Vacation Ownership Resorts (BVHGVOR) by offering BVHGVOR exclusive right to market SkyMed in selected Caribbean market areas, namely St. Maarten, Aruba and the Bahamas.

BVHGVOR is a subsidiary of the Buena Vista Hospitality Group, which is expanding its international resort and golf development and management business to include projects in the rapidly growing vacation ownership industry. Spearheading the efforts of BVHGVOR are vacation ownership industry veterans Ralph Abbott and Ken Van Ness.

Mr. Klein said, " SkyMed is pleased to continue a business relationship with Ralph Abbott who has earned the respect of the vacation resort industry over the past 15 years. "

Mr. Abbott has spent the past several years specializing in the Caribbean timeshare community, most recently as Chief Operating Officer of the world class Royal Resorts properties in Cancun.

SkyMed is the premier emergency air evacuation membership service in North America. Mr. Klein said, "Since 1989, SkyMed has delivered through Canada, the USA, Mexico, the Bahamas, Caribbean and now Bermuda, on its mantra, SkyMed takes (its members) home whenever they suffer a critical illness or injury more than 100 air miles from home."

Mr. Abbott knows all too well the rigor of Caribbean travel and necessary healthcare. In 1999 while in the Turks & Caicos he suffered a critical injury, which demanded his immediate repatriation to a highly skilled American medical facility.

He said, "I was able to obtain private jet flight service to Gainesville, Florida but not on a medically equipped jet. It was a very costly and extremely uncomfortable flight. The irony of it all was that I had earlier been a member of SkyMed, and let my membership lapse. Had I remained a member, SkyMed would have paid all costs and would have had a medically equipped aircraft to take care of me. I, as a SkyMed member, am now prepared for the unexpected."

SkyMed has been at the forefront of emergency medical air evacuation membership services with particular emphasis on the recreational vehicle industry. The travel clubs of numerous RV manufacturers, including Winnebago Itasca, Airstream, Holiday Rambler, Newmar, Fleetwood have all selected SkyMed as their service of choice.

Mr. Klein said, "We have countless letters of commendation from members for whom we have provided repatriations and other services within our membership plan."

"The timeshare industry is a logical extension of our earlier business plan," he said.

Mr. Abbott said, "Within our organization we are going to apprise every member of SkyMed's services. While a holiday travel incapacitation may be infrequent, critical illnesses and injuries do befall timeshare travelers from time to time. We do not wish our members to face flight bills in the tens of thousands of dollars when it can be avoided for a minimal fee covering weekly or annual or multi-year periods."

An annual family membership in SkyMed is $300.00 per year with a one-time application fee of $60.00. A family can have SkyMed's peace of mind Wings of Life for 7 travel days at only $79.00.

Mr. and Mrs. Charles Legg, New Brunswick, New Jersey recently traveled to St. Maarten when Mr. Legg suffered a critical illness, SkyMed rushed him home to his own health care providers, he said, "SkyMed was my lifesaver. We don't know what we would have done without SkyMed. It would have cost us over $25,000.00 for a flight home, if we knew how to organize it. SkyMed took care of everything, no co-pays, no claim form and no deductible. We are telling every timeshare owner we know, please travel with a SkyMed membership card."
